How Do I File For Overtime Pay?
Under the terms of the main IAPE contract with Dow Jones, overtime-eligible employees, are entitled to time-and-one-half for all hours assigned (or reasonably expected to complete work assigned by a supervisor) in excess of their normal five-day, 35-hour or four-day, 36-hour workweek.
The process by which IAPE-represented employees file for Overtime has changed, effective June 26, 2015. Please see the following message from the office of Mark Musgrave:
Today I'm delighted to announce the launch of our brand new HR Hub. I invite you to visit the new site at the following link: hrhub.dowjones.net
Along with the HR Hub we are launching Workday, our new HR system. Workday replaces several existing software platforms including PeopleSoft, the DJ Scheduler, and Success Factors. This will enable us to operate on one consolidated system, which you can access via DJ Hub > What You Need > HR Hub. Links in this drop-down menu for Time Off, Org Chart and HR Site have been removed.
Over the past few months we've conducted numerous training and introductory "First Look" Sessions, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. I'm confident you will find the HR Hub and Workday easy, simple, and intuitive to use.
Training and additional supporting materials for using Workday will be available on the LMS.
Your HR Generalist will also be able to help if you need assistance.
If you have any questions or feedback, you can also reach out to our implementation team at email@example.com.
