IAPE: On The Road, Again

Your Union. Your Contract

It's time to get back on the road and continue the cross-country face-to-face membership meetings that are critical for building the network we'll need once contract bargaining begins at Dow Jones.

Union president Steve Yount will be making a swing through the West, beginning with San Francisco, where he'll meet with IAPE members on July 5th and then continue the MarketWatch recruitment efforts on July 6th.

Steve will then be in Las Vegas to represent IAPE at the Sector Conference of the Newspaper Guild, July 7th and 8th, and the annual convention of the CWA, July 9th through 11th.

On the 12th, it'll be a morning membership meeting in Los Angeles and an evening membership meeting in Denver. On the 13th, it's 6 hours in Chicago and a membership meeting in suburban Naperville, Illinois.

There's a lot of work that needs to be done this year and it all starts with a membership that is engaged and mobilized— a membership which realizes this is their union, their money, their job— and their contract.

We always want to know what you think— and we'd love to hear it face-to-face in San Francisco on the 5th and 6th, LA and Denver on the 12th and Naperville on the 13th.
