Warning Letters

I don't know if it's the heat wave— the phases of the moon — or another aspect of global warming— but there seems to have been a flurry of warning letters handed out at Dow Jones recently, six in the past week.

Hopefully you'll never get one. But if you do, don't panic.

If your boss tells you you're going to get a warning letter, call Union Organizer Tim Martell at the union office (609-799-1520) or reach out to your local Union Rep or call me at 609-220-5951.

You don't want to go through any kind of warning alone— and you don't have to. You have the right to have a union representative in the meeting—- and after the meeting, you absolutely need to file a written rebuttal. We'll walk you through that as well.

There's more on warning letters— and much more— at the Help Desk.

As always, if you need me, give me a call.
