Michael D. Radakovich: 1957-2015
Michael D. Radakovich, a former IT expert for The Wall Street Journal's Detroit bureau and 28-year Dow Jones & Company veteran, passed away Friday, October 9, 2015 at the age of 57.
Mike is survived by his wife, Donna and sons Michael (Rachael), Matthew and Ryan (Samantha), as well as his grandchildren Michael and Lucas and siblings Donald and Diane.
Mike began his Dow Jones career in January of 1984 and became a Senior System Support Specialist in February, 2001. He is fondly remembered by countless Dow Jones employees and alumni.
A dedicated family man and passionate hockey fan, Mike was involved with the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) for many years, beginning in 1998 as head coach of the University of Michigan Men's Division II team until 2002, and holding a number of different roles within the ACHA over the next two decades.
Funeral services were held in Livonia, MI on Tuesday, October 13, 2015. Memorial contributions to the Michigan Humane Society would be appreciated.
