The officers and staff of IAPE Local 1096 offer their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Dow Jones special writer, Arden Dale who passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at her home in Maplewood, NJ.
Born in Madison, WI on July 29, 1959, Ms. Dale was the beloved wife of Thomas Richardson and devoted mother of Malcolm Richardson. A graduate of the Columbia School of Journalism, she was a reporter and editor at Dow Jones for 20 years.
In a Wall Street Journal remembrance of Ms. Dale, deputy managing editor Neal Lipschutz said, "We are deeply saddened by Arden's death. She was a highly talented and widely respected journalist and colleague. Arden served Dow Jones, The Wall Street Journal and their readers well in important news management and reporting positions."

Arden Dale was 54 years old.
