NOTICE OF ELECTION

RULES FOR IAPE DOW JONES CONTRACT RATIFICATION VOTE

UPDATE: DUE TO TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES AT THE BEGINNING OF THIS VOTING PERIOD, THE DEADLINE TO VOTE ON THE 2016 IAPE/DJ TENTATIVE AGREEMENT HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO MONDAY, NOVEMBER 28TH AT 4:00 PM EST.

Notice is herewith given of the 2016 IAPE Dow Jones Contract Ratification vote.

THE FOLLOWING RULES WILL GOVERN THE VOTE:

1. This NOTICE of IAPE DOW JONES CONTRACT RATIFICATION VOTE will be available to all bargaining unit members via the IAPE website www.iape1096.org as of Wednesday, November 16, 2016.

2. The election will be conducted by online voting. Ballot security credentials and login information will be emailed on Friday, November 18, 2016 by TrueBallot Inc., to all eligible members who were in good standing as of Monday, November 14, 2016.

3. Detailed voting instructions will accompany the ballot. If you do not receive a ballot and believe you are eligible to vote, please contact the IAPE Election Committee: electioncommittee@iape1096.org.

4. Members will be asked to vote "YES" to accept or "NO" to reject the tentative agreement between IAPE TNG/CWA Local 1096 and Dow Jones & Company. Details of the tentative agreement are posted at http://iape1096.org/info/documents/djiapetentagree.pdf and http://iape1096.org/info/documents/djiapemoa.pdf.

5. Only official ballots will be counted.

6. All ballots must be received by TrueBallot Inc. no later than 11:59 PM EST, Monday, November 21, 2016 to be counted.

7. Ballots will be counted by TrueBallot Inc. commencing at, 9:00 AM EST, Tuesday, November 22, 2016. Results will be posted as soon as possible thereafter on the IAPE website www.iape1096.org.
